记录一下最近对因缘观观察的体会。

念佛是谁?

一个经典的问题:如果五蕴皆空,那么念佛(修行)的是谁?

因为行蕴不是自己,只是因果,所以不是我在作意,不是我在希求,精进不是我,修行也不是我,那么慎勿放逸又从何讲起?断恶修善度众生的是谁?选择禅修而非娱乐的是谁?

同修说,如果你真能证到五蕴皆空,就没有能修行的人和所修行的事,能所双亡,就入菩萨地了。

所以,这个世界本来就是没有我的,本来就没有人在修行。基于这个假设,修行这个动作本身就是不根本成立的,因为事实上就没有能修行的人和所修行的事。所谓修行,只是一个因果作用的过程,不是由谁来推动的。

如果所谓的我,只是过去现在业力的叠加,“我”所要做的工作,只是保证不再被过去现在业力所左右而已,具体来说,是不在业力的作用下创造新的业力。业的持续存在,需要依赖它的过去条件和当下条件同时具备,比如我喜欢吃菠菜,既需要过去生对菠菜味道的适应,也需要当下这刻我真的把爱吃菠菜当成一回事。两者缺一不可。由此,既然我改变不了过去,就只能把握当下,这是Thanissaro Bikkhu写的。

所以什么是修行?它不过是训练对业力的客观观察,让业力通过我,而不成为我。我对“我”之存在的假设,是使得业力能够时时相续的燃料。观察的重点,在于理解事物的因缘,而根本上理解在一切的过程中没有一个“我”的作用,只是客观的因果过程。

我觉得以上说的基本不对。权当记录了。
